Love it. Amazed they can create such a different phone, with r&d likely costing more then they will make back in sales.

It's $999. I get it's expensive, but I can't buy it because it's SO expensive. I really want it though, this phone seems amazing. I really hope this isn't a one generation kind of phone. Give me a couple years to save money/get more financially stable due to covid being crazy and I would TOTALLY buy this. I wonder how many software updates it'll get. Motorola does 1 for their phones, most brands do 2. I'd keep this phone for 2-3 years like I've kept all my other phones Most smartphones run fine when I buy new ones. The battery just degrades over time and the software is outdated. If those 2 problems were fixed, I'd keep a phone for 5+ years

This is not the first time that LG made a phone like this it was years ago it was on Verizon it was called...LG VX9400 it was small in your hand and you flipped it up. So they always been doing some futuristic phones here and there This is a good one again for 2021..

My thoughts when I first saw a picture of the Wing: Too impractical, useless. No way. My thoughts after watching this video: Hmm... seems interesting. Would want to play with one on display. I still think the Surface Duo is most practical dual-display phone design yet, I'll just wait for a phone to come out with that same design, that's not made by Microsoft. The only sour part for me.

App idea make application that senses the user drawing motions then activates tomahawk "App" permission sensors clearly but cameras for video recording while you chuck the phone a photo of your tomahawk is displayed on screen while it flys to it's target then when it hits it takes video for gifs or video service social media start up

I still want a Android Sidekick

This phone really is AWESOME because unlike other phones with 2 screens or folded screens, this one allows you to do more stuff, has more functions and jobs for the screen to perform rather than just give you one more screen to faff around with. The design, the tactile feel, the size -- all just beautiful. It's defo not as big as it could be with those 2 screens. I personally think this is far, far better and would be more reliable and practical than those foldable stupidity. Folding screens are good as ad boards (on buses, trains and other places), office display, home TV (perhaps), etc. They are no good for handheld mobile devices. For that we need the next tech leap: pull-out or expandable displays where the main unit will be just a small square/box/rectangle and from that you just pull out the big screen, do your thing and then push it back in (as seen in some movies). But a folding screen just doesn't accommodate that. For now I think LG's method is far more practical and purposeful.

I've been an LG fan since the flip phone days, and in a brief hiatus because they're in timeout for bootlooping Android phones. But you have to love how they've always kept it weird.

The way people need to hold while gaming , will eventually break the (big) flip display..and its really uncomfortable and delicate to hold the mobile in that position while gaming

It's a phone with 1 1/2 screen because the other half is for holding the phone in place. Would have been great to use 2 full screens at once.

Check the bottom screen. It's actually lowered a little bit and has something like a little wall around it. So when you flip it, dirt won't grind between the screens

I feel like if there was a Samsung or Apple logo on it, people would be going crazy for it. It’s a really cool phone, but I do think that nowadays branding/hype is more important than quality or functionality. You can have something inferior sell for a lot more if you have good marketing. This is definitely the year of weird phones and I love it. It's kinda awesome that every company tries out crazy new ideas like Microsoft with the Duo, Samsung with the Flip and now LG with the wing man phone.
